Our church started as a Church Plant from a Compassionate Ministry work which was developed in the Raffles Estate, Carlisle. The Living Well Trust was established in 1998 and soon went from 2 visionaries to a large team reaching the people of Raffles. In 2001 services began in the Raffles Centre and they still continue today; a different building, more people, a new pastor, and a new vision!

We are some what different from what they call an “inherited church” - we start when people arrive, we christen when the full family arrives, we are a breath of fresh air and He, the Holy Spirit is working through us to reach people of Raffles.

We are a LEARNING, CARING, SHARING church the new vision for Raffles Community Church, based on Acts 2. We want to be a church that is devoted to prayer, to learn, to meet as a gathering, to glorify God and to tell others what he has done for us. We do this by sharing our faith, practically and verbally 1 Thessalonians 2:8 to others around us.
